The flood Relief Concert at Kuch Khas, Islamabad

All individuals in Pakistan have joined hands in tremendous efforts to overcome the disastrous situation the country is facing due to the unprecedented floods, last year and this year. Likewise, Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, has stood up for making effective efforts to offer a solution to the devastating scenario caused by the this natural disaster.

In urge to collect a healthy amount of funds for the victims affected by the torment, the Juvenile Dignitaries, a social services provider, has organized a concert at Kuch Khas.

This organization is well known for its unique programs which it started up for the enhancement of the hidden talent of Pakistani Youth.

In aim to support the fatalities in the areas of Sindh Juvenile Dignitaries, the organization will play its role as a helping hand, with another notable non-governmental organization, Comprehensive Disaster Response Service, also known as CDRS.

Both associations will collect the funds through this thrilling event in desire to provide a temporary break to the tedious and tense situation in Sindh.

The beneficial contribution of Juvenile Dignitaries and CDRS has organized this philanthropic event that will attract numerous music lovers, who will honor the cause through their presence at this event.

Kuch Khas, with the collaboration of Sonic Peacemakers, a joint venture of Pakistani and American musicians, has selected a few top singers and music players for the flood relief concert.

Among the notable singers who will spread the magic of their voice and music at the venue of Kuch Khas are Arieb Azhar, Quratulain Balouch, Yasir & Jawad and Todd Shea. These names are famous due to their exclusive music style and voice.

The famous Sufi singer, Arieb Azhar, who was placed in the limelight after his fabulous performance in the second and third episodes of Coke Studio, will disperse paranormal ambience with his soothing voice, poetry and music.

Quratulain Balouch, famous by the name of QB among her fans, will add to the magic with her distinct voice quality. The audience will experience the mix of Sufi and rock music through her vocals.

Besides Sufi and rock music, the audience will attain an opportunity to go through the intimate mix of Rabab (Pushto musical instrument) and acoustic guitar from a Peshawer based band, Yasir & Jawad.

Last but not the least, a well known American singer, song writer and guitarist, Todd Shea, who is also the Executive Director of the Comprehensive Disaster Response Services, will play his role in entertaining the audience of Kuch Khas.

The event is scheduled on the 18th of October, 2011, at Kuch Khas, in Islamabad, from 7:00 pm till 10:00 pm. This event will most certainly aide the noble cause of generating funds for the most neglected and remote areas of Sindh in order to facilitate them with medical aid and other basic/necessary amenities.
