Salman Khan will reportedly to help Indian music director, Himesh Reshammiya with promoting his upcoming movie ‘Damadamm’ in Dawali, which fixed to release on the similar day of Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One.
Sallu also doing a small part in Hema Malini’s ‘Tell Me O Khuda’, recently, he is shooting for ‘EK Tha Tiger’ in Istanbul and will back on October 21. Soon, after he reached his destination, he will expect to watch this movie in Dawali. Both ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Damadamm’ are released on the same date on October 26.
The reports have revealed that, Sallu is supporting Himesha’s film to improve his friendship because earlier, both of them had controversies between them which were later resolved with their patch up and Salman Khan gave him chance to promote the music of his movie ‘Bodyguard’.
Shahrukh khan’s ‘Ra.One’ is likely to be the most popular movie and looks to kill the enthusiasm for any other film. SRK explained, “The film comes straight from my heart and I believe in it. I have made this film because I wanted to, so why should I be scared of the outcome? In 20 years, you have given me status where I can think of spending money.”
There are speculations that Himesh has joined Salman, to overcome the insecurity, he feels from the expected popularity of ‘Ra One’.
Reshammiya told the media, “Salmanbhai has liked the promos and I want my lucky charm Salmanbhai to see the film as soon as possible. Although my film will be competing against Ra.One, I am super confident that Damadamm will also make a mark. I am sure that the product will bring a smile on every face.”
Possibly, Reshammiya has confidence on the content quality of his film, which compelled him to launch it with SRK on, although the songs of ‘Damadamm’ are already hit in the Big Screen. Himesh has also performed in movies such as ‘App Kaa Suroor-The Real Luv Story’ in 2007 and ‘Karzz ‘in 2008. He also worked in ‘Radio’ in 2009 and ‘Kajraare’ in 2010.
Let’s see, how far Reshammiya-Salman alliance will be successful in challenging the Ra-One’s popularity.
