Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza claims CM?s staff is openly calling and threatening MPAs not to meet him

Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, who was a former Home Minister Sindh till June 2011, has finally admitted he now carries a certain level of bitterness for the current President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, as he is not happy with Zardari?s close relations with Muttahida
Quami Movement (MQM).

Mirza, who was long regarded as president?s close friend, told the media Zardari thinks his own way and he has a difference of opinion with him. Mirza said Zardari wants to sit with murderers, criminals and rapists and therefore he has created a gap with
him because he thinks sitting with these people can affect Pakistan?s stability.

?That?s why I am not with him now. Difference of opinion. I think in a different way,? he says. ?He wants to sit with murderers, criminals, rapists, dacoits,? says Mirza with a touch of disappointment, adding that, ?[these elements] want to break Pakistan.?

According to independent media account Mirza has an open support of 18 MPAs and 6 ministers within the Pakistan People?s Party. However, Mirza insists these are just the ones who have been exposed. Moreover, Mirza?s popularity with the party has clearly
overpowered the PPP?s top leadership in Sindh and as a result to which now the PPP leaders are trying to get rid of Mirza completely.

Mirza claimed the chief minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and his staff members are openly threatening all the MPAs out there not to meet him. Mirza especially mentioned the likes of Siraj Durrani and Pir Mazhar.

Mirza also stated he along with the former President of Pakistan, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, had so much trust in Zardari but he has been punished for it, as he said now meeting and eating with him has become a crime for everyone.

?They are saying don?t meet me (Mirza). Openly in a meeting, Siraj Durrani shouted it, Pir Mazhar said it and the chief minister also said it. The CM?s staff is openly calling MPAs and threatening them [not to meet me].

?He, who Bibi had so much trust in, President Asif Ali Zardari had so much trust in ? today, this is what I have become ? an untouchable??
