SRK and Kareena on the red carpet for Ra One’s premiere in Dubai

Bollywood superstar duo, Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor along with the whole crew of RA One walked the red carpet at the world premiere of their much-anticipated movie – set to hit the big screens on this Diwali, October 26, 2011.

The entire team of Ra One including the well recognised face Arjun Rampal, actress Shahana Goswami, child actor Armaan Verma, director Anubhav Sinha and designer Manish Malhotra walked the red carpet at Dubai Grand Hyatt’s cinema, where thousands of fans greeted SRK and the complete unit of Ra One.

SRK left no stone unturned for the promotion of his magnum opus project – a movie in which he is playing role of a superhero, Jeevan. Arjun Rampal, on the other hand, is performing an evil-role RA.One which is also the name of the picture.

It is certainly a heavy budget movie, as along with the heavy remunerations of big cast like Kareena and Arjun Rapal, the producer of the film, Gauri Khan – who is SRK’s spouse – has spent a lot of money on the shooting of the science fiction picture.

Talking about his ambitious project at the world premiere, SRK termed Ra One as a great family entertainment and hoped that the picture will break all previous record on the box office.

“The film’s message is – as long as you have goodness in your heart you will always be a superhero,” said the King Khan who has already given a number of hits with Kareena such as Don and Ashoka.

He, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to Dubai for giving tremendous response and love during his visit.

Another thrilled person who talked to media at the premiere was film’s director Anubhav – somebody who is quite hopeful of the sequel to the Ra One following its great success.

“It has all the qualities of a Diwali film. It’s happy, nice and has great songs – it’s just what people want to see,” he described, adding that the parents who take care of their children in the real life are the genuine superheroes.

After Dubai, SRK is now set to go to London and Toronto for his movie’s further premieres.
