Chief Minister asks for rechecking of Intermediate Part-1 papers on immediate basis
Lahore, October 26: Shahbaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has asked for the rechecking of Intermediate Part-1 papers on immediate basis without making any delay in this regard.
The results of Intermediate Part-1 of the Intermediate and Secondary Education will be announced after the rechecking of the papers in eight boards of Punjab.
The Higher Education Department took immediate action in this regard as they ordered the Chairmen of the boards to start the rechecking process of papers on immediate basis.
The Chief Minister has strictly instructed that the checking should be fair in all aspects. There will not be any additional fee from students for the rechecking of their papers as it will be completely free of cost.
Through the rechecking of papers, the results of the Intermediate Part-1 will be correct in all aspects and the students will not face any problem in this regard. It has also been decided that every single answer sheet of the students will be checked with full attention and no sheet will be left unchecked.
The marks obtained by the students in all eight boards will be compared with the existing lists and corrections will be made accordingly and the number of students who appeared in the exams will also be verified again.
It has further been decided that all papers will be checked by the examiners not the computers. Every aspect in this regard will be kept into consideration and no single aspect will be ignored to ensure correct and true result of the students.
It has also been decided that in every board four teams will work in various shifts to ensure that the rechecking process will remain continue round the clock to ensure the students that the result will be declared as soon as possible.
The heads of public and private sectors will be asked for the supervision of the rechecking process with the coordination of the Chairman of the concerned board so that the transparency in this process could be ensured.
After the completion of rechecking of the papers, teams will also check these papers randomly to verify the correctness or accuracy of the results.
