Faisal Bukhari set to make “Bhai Log” sequel after splendid response

Renowned Pakistani producer, camera man and director, Syed Faisal Bukhari, has decided to make a sequel of “Bhai Log” after its predecessor was earmarked as a commercial success.

In his previous effort, the talented director has well portrayed the gangster rule in Karachi. Pakistani cult heroes in Nadeem Baig, Javed Sheikh, Moammar Rana, and Babar Ali along with other notable talents had put up a decent
effort in the action adventure.

Now Faisal is ready to rock the cinemas again with the surety of another action packed movie, promising to be as exciting as the first one. But unlikely the first part which had portrayed Karachi as a gangster’s dugout, this time
the plot revolves around the underworld life of mobsters in Lahore.

“I made an effort to capture some of Karachi’s old heritage previously and now I want to show Lahore’s beauty in the same manner,” Bukhari concluded.

Faisal, who started his career in the film industry as a camera man, went on to reveal that he will start filming the sequel after Moharram-ul-Haram.

While speaking to the media, Faisal revealed that he has not finalized the cast for the sequel and highlighted that he is likely to introduce newcomers into the industry. Faisal revealed that people are tired with typical Lollywood
movies and identified his target audience living in smaller cities.

“This will be a commercial film based on some of the dynamics in Lahore. One positive thing that came from the success of Bhai Log was that the regional film circuit in places such as Gujranwala and Sheikhupura opened
up after years.” Faisal was quoted as saying.

The talismanic director is of the opinion that he did not focus on the musical side of the movie last time and assured the audience of spell-bound musical numbers in his upcoming movie.

“I did not give enough attention to the music last time and I would like the next film to have better music.”

 Faisal Bukhari lamented the crisis, surrounding the Pakistani cinema, and promised that his latest venture is going to be entertaining and could prove out to be another step in the revival of Pakistani cinemas.
