Binoy Gandhi successful in restoring Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan’s friendship

The Bollywood film maker, Binoy Gandhi has been successful in bringing two friends, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan closer, as earlier the duo broke up following their debut in the Indian film industry.

"Binoy had invited both, Ranbir and Imran, and once they showed up, they put the friction between them into cold storage. They watched Binoy’s film and were seen chatting through the preview," said a source.

When Gandhi was asked about the secret that how he managed to bring the two stars together he said, "Ranbir is a childhood friend, and Imran and I have got along since the time he worked in Break Be Baad for Kunal Kohli. It was
nice of them to support me."

Earlier the producers like Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala had tried to remove the distance between these two super-stars but unfortunately they remained unsuccessful.

It is also reported that Kapoor has been insisting that he would act only in solo-hero films but finally was convinced by Gandhi.

Gandhi revealed that he is hopeful to work with both the young stars in the future. Both actors made debut at the same time around 2007-08 and in the early days of their career, there was seen a big competition between the duo.
Making professional career their priority, Kapoor and Imran stayed away from each other in social circles, and used to skip each other’s functions. However, in the last week, the two were seen together when Kunal Kohli’s assistant director Gandhi’s 45-minute
feature film titled, Ishq Holiday’ was previewing.

Khan started his career with movie ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.  Later he also appeared in other commercially successful films like – I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Delhi Belly
(2011) and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011).

On the other hand, Ranbir made his debut in 2007 with his film ‘Saawariya’ and was given the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His other films included — Wake Up Sid (2009), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) and Raajneeti (2010),
which was commercially a big hit.
