Embracing Change for Better

Pakistan since its inception has been struggling against resistance from various quarters. Be it the national security issue which had never left its side like a loyal friend or be it the fight against corruption, inflation and now very recently introduced,
terrorism, Pakistan, my dear home, has never seen a bed full of roses.

In her infant years, Pakistan was very weak and feeble and now that she is 64-year-old the story is no different either. He early days saw her struggling for sustainability and now after so many years have gone by it is still about sustainability.

However, the two scenarios are seemingly similar yet dramatically opposites. Strange, isn’t it? At that time, my homeland had no wealth of its own, nothing to lay down the foundations of the basic infrastructure with, no skills to build up on, but a “vision”
alone of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. His vision was to work, work and only work, which though could never seek its full execution, nonetheless had set the wheels rolling.

On the contrary, now that my homeland has been blessed with everything, along with the entire basic infrastructure in place and the skills brimming to the top, there I see a complete loss of vision. It is like you have it all, yet it’s not yours.

We are actually at a complete loss of vision which is a derivative of a strong Leadership. I will not be wrong in saying that people of Pakistan are very emotional and no one but the politicians have put that to the best use known. Each time Pakistanis themselves
bring those to power who are least worthy of the responsibility. This cycle has been a recursive one and despite hoping against hope it was never any different.

Those who reigned in as leaders of the Land of Pure, had self assumed that they will never step down from authority until they make sure that their next generations could live off the money their forefathers had earned  through corruption.

Pakistan’s dilemma is never ending string of corrupt leadership, which trickles down to the grass root level, to weaken its foundations further. This redundant process, has reached the point where Pakistan can take no more.

Our precariously surviving nation is screaming for a leadership which can rescue her from demise, which now seems very probable. It is late but not too late to embrace the change of mindset, which will lead up the right choice for the future leadership.

It is very important to realise that the leadership can turn you into a pack of slaves or raise your heads high, beaming with confidence and pride. Choice is yours as it is about time that Pakistan needs to embrace the change for better.
