My nation has just begun flexing its muscles

Pakistan has been on the lookout for the leadership which can streamline its rapidly fraying ends. However, so far the struggle failed to sift out the most fitting leaders to reign in the position of authority. It always felt that choice which was painted
pretty ahead of the elections was always heavenly in comparison to what was actually offered.

Over this last one decade, the political scene took drastic swings, which started from dethroning of Sharif Rule to the military coup imposed by General Musharaf, which took him good  seven years to step down from the presidency, only to lead Pakistan into
the Zardari era, which had hopelessness written all over it.

With three years into Zardari’s stint, people have been fined tuned to expect the worst.  Be it the mishandled disaster management, the sky rocketing inflation, dwindling national security status or leverage granted to our friends (read foes) to take blood
of our people in the name of so called “War on Terrorism”, we have seen it all and that too in abundance.

Although his tenure still has a year more remaining but our power- deprived nation has been pushed to their maximum limit, where no more can be taken. The entire nation has reached that brink where they are ready to do anything to get rid of the corrupt
leadership which has been eating us up since ever. Nothing else appears like a possibility to the nose dipping plane of Pakistan, which unfortunately never had the opportunity to take off to savour its flight, but to snatch your right.

This complex situation has been getting uglier by the minute and it had reached a point where ever body is convinced to give the fullest to the endeavour. It’s more of a  now or never situation. Where everything else is at a complete loss of hope , Imran
khan’s “mulk bachao”( save the country) rally appeared as the silver lining to the dark clouds of Zardari era.

Against all expectations, Imran Khan’s call for the noble cause, lured in an estimate total of 500,000 people, who had willing responded to his genuine call, to be part of the process of change .Change although is a very vast word, is believed  to have already
begun with the ocean of support  at Minar-e-Pakistan ground on Sunday , October 30. Khan’s leadership shared the vision of a better, fairer country, granting it a chance of which Pakistan had always been deprived of.
