Part 2

Another cult that is commonly found in our society is that of smoking. Despite all the warning regarding the harmful effects of smoking cigarettes, there is still a significant amount of population that is still indulging in this destructive practice. Not
only do these people put their own lives in danger, but also put the health of the people around them at risk by sending side-stream smoke in their direction. The smokers have no regard for anyone and selfishly indulge in a practice that provides them with
nothing more than psychological satisfaction.

A few smokers argue that it helps them relieve stress, while others justify the practice by saying it gives them pleasure or helps them think clearly. So does that mean that if a psychopath killer derives pleasure and satisfaction out of butchering innocent
kids and the practice helps them think straight afterwards, then we should let him do it? How is there a difference between the two?

The side-stream smoke introduced by the smokers is going into other people’s lungs and messing up with their respiratory system, planting seeds for a malfunction that may happen anytime and eventually lead to a heart-attack. Why is a smoker allowed to put
someone in a serious danger of getting a heart-attack, but a psycho killer is not allowed to slice bodies of young fragile kids? If one is condemned for carrying a sick mind, then why is the other accepted a part of the society? Why are the ads regarding the
harmful effects of smoking completely ignored and nobody takes a stand against these people? Are we too scared of losing a friend or getting in trouble with the boss who smokes? Why can’t we corner them and force them to throw their cigarettes away or else
face serious consequences, which may range from a hard beating to legal action against them? Anyone found smoking in public areas should be charged with “attempted murder” and dealt with in the due manner.

Another thing that has become an integral part of our corrupt society is the immoral language used in everyday life, especially by men. The sanctity of mothers and sisters is comprised in almost every second sentence because people find it hard to communicate
without the usage of swearing and profanities. People feel no shame in discussing private body parts in the most demeaning manner and some people make it a point to end every light hearted conversation with a reference to these parts. There used to be a time
when men had some respect for women left in them and refrained from verbal vomiting in front of the latter. However, this respect is disappearing at an alarming rate and suddenly it has become more important for some men to share a dirty thought or crack a
dirty joke than care about their image in front of a girl or keep her from feeling uneasy and awkward.

Why are such men not being condemned? Why is nobody teaching these people proper etiquettes to mind their language and sick thoughts in public? A stand needs to be taken against these people. Someone needs to define humanity for these people once again and
explain the significance of morality and decency. Every time a person utters filth from his mouth, he deals a heavy blow to his soul and it is only a matter of time before he completely destroys his soul and becomes a reflection of Satan himself.
