Adeel Chaudhry set for his Bollywood debut in “Rhythm”

Pakistani singer, Adeel Chaudhry, is set to feature as a lead actor in a Bollywood movie “Rhythm”.

Adeel, who started his showbiz career from a Pepsi commercial and started singing later on, has been casted by a famed Indian director Vivek Kumar. If speculations are to believed, the Indian movie will hit the stores in February,
2012.

Kumar is known for his movie “Lakeer” starring Sunny Deol, John Abraham, Sohail Khan and Sunil Shetty. Reports in India also suggest that the producer-cum-director is also working on his upcoming Indian art movie “Chooriyan” featuring
Filmfare life time achievement award winner, Vinod Khanna.

Speaking on the upcoming movie, Adeel said:

“In my future projects I’m doing a Bollywood film for the producer Vivek Kumar fame of Lakeer movie. The movie is titled ‘Rhythm’ and I will be playing the main lead role in the movie. It is a musical film. The movie has already
been shot in Poland and is set to release in 2012. I have also given the music and have sung two tracks for the movie.”

Chaudhry is not unknown to the Bollywood limelight, as the promising singer provided Bollywood movies “Jugaad” and “Kismat Connection” with hit-tracks.

After receiving splendid response from the audience for his first music album, Adeel is currently working on his second album named “Ruk Jaa”. The upcoming album is said to be filled with spell bounding numbers and promise to be
as good as the previous one.

The upcoming album has eight songs in total which will be released in Pakistan and India respectively. While speaking to the media, Adeel has accepted that he has finished working on two videos for the upcoming album which have
been shot in London and Ibiza.

“We want to make our mark around the world; hence, many artists don’t want to lose any chances they have of making it big. India is a much bigger market so you have to push yourself and your talents further in order to attain success.”Adeel
was quoted as saying.

Adeel would certainly not be the first Pakistani singer to test his fate in an Indian movie. He has followed the footsteps of renowned Pakistani singer, Ali Zafar, who worked alongside Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif in “Mere Brother
Ki Dulhan”.
