We Need to Talk about Kevin – Soon on the big screen

The winner of the Orange Prize in year 2005, Lionel Shriver’s famous novel ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ will become a film drama in year 2012. This film is expected to be nominated for the Oscars as well.

The story line is very unique, based on a fictional school massacre and the difficulties a mother faces after knowing the psychic problem her child is suffering from.

The two main characters of the movie are Eva Khatchadourian and her son Kevin who’s behaviour resembles to a sociopath.

Eva Khatchadourian who is terrified after knowing about the monstrous reality of her sullen and gloomy child which she never wanted, is played by a famous British actress Tilda Swinton.  Tilda Swinton was grown popular because of her movie ‘Curious Case
of Benjamin Buttons’.

The monumental performance of Tilda Swinton proves her to be one of the best actresses of her generation.  

The story revolves around the curious relationship of a mother and child and how the terrified mother tackles with the bottled and immoral personality of her son.

Ezra Miller who is portraying the role of Kevin is a disturbed child. He keeps distance from people and from his social life due to which he ends up blaming everyone for his contempt and hatred. This sociopath child is involved in a huge mess due to the
lake of attention and love he deserved in his childhood by his mother.

Eva’s little monster turns out to be a psycho killer who murders different people at his high school for lame reasons.

The writer Lynne Ramsay itself is the director of this drama movie, in which it is shown how a child deals with her mother’s feelings to make her realize the responsibilities she must have payed attention, during his childhood.

On the 27^th of January 2012 this thrilling movie will be released on the big screen. This senseless killing spree thriller film will definitely attract huge number of audience’s attention.
