Women all over the world search online for the best healthy foods that they can eat during pregnancy. Sometimes they get incorrect information as well. The truth is that when it comes to eating the right types of food during pregnancy, there is no specific
list or formula. You just have to stick to one basic fact: eat less fatty and healthier food. Another misconception that often rules most pregnant women is to eat for two people at the same time. They do this because they are made to believe that this is good
for their baby. Actually, it is not! Eating extra will give rise to so many health problems and it will kill the essence for which double eating was being done at the first place.

During pregnancy, one has to remember that quantity of food is not important as much as the quality of what one is eating is important. Some women forcefully eat what they do not like just for the sake of the health of their baby. The truth is that the health
of the baby can be taken care of by eating good nutritional foods that you like. They key is to eat healthy foods that are packed with various nutrition which will help in making the bones, brains and muscles of the baby. These foods are great. Also, it should
be remembered that a pregnant lady must not diet at any cost because this can prove to be extremely harmful for the baby.

 When we talk of nutrition-full food, we talk of many good items. Take for example carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are a great source of energy which if eaten in the right amount through the right foods. One has to be very selective during pregnancy when it
comes to eating carbohydrates. Even though foods like rice, bread and grains are packed with carbohydrates – in pregnancy, browns are preferred and recommended over whites at all times. Eating brown rice, brown grains, brown bread and brown pasta will not
only give you the energy but will also help in digestion. They are also low in calories and yet fill you up! Also try eating fish twice a week for a healthy balance.

Having beans and poultry is also essential during pregnancy. Beans are packed with folic acids, various vitamins and proteins which are very good for the baby’s health. Beans prevent constipation while amino acids gained from proteins by eating poultry are
essential for the baby. Eating loads of fruits and vegetables are extremely important for your health and your baby’s health. Fruits and vegetables and nuts help kill timeless hunger pangs and are full of nutrition. Spinach, walnuts, almonds, carrots, cucumbers,
celery, avocados, bananas, mangos, apples, strawberries are all examples of a huge fruits and vegetables list. It must be kept in mind that all fruits, vegetables and nuts must be washed very well before eating so that all bacteria and pesticides are washed
away which can be proven harmful for the baby.
