Three more people succumb to dengue in Lahore, death toll surges 348 during Eid-ul-Azha holidays

 

 

The research findings revealed that three more citizens belonging to Lahore succumbed to dengue, increasing the death toll to 348 in the provincial capital for the duration of Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

According to research reports from the various hospitals and healthcare centres, two dengue sufferers involving Fazal, 50, an inhabitant of Tajpura, and Abdul Hameed, 60, an inhabitant of Badami Bagh lost their battle against dengue at the Services Hospital.
In the meantime, 45-year-old Parveen Bibi Faisal Town died due to dengue in the Jinnah Hospital, in Lahore.

Around about 199 new dengue cases were reported, surging the total number of dengue patients to 32,491 in the provincial capital (Lahore), alone. Approximately, 32 new dengue cases were reported in the Mayo Hospital, while 2 dengue patients were tested positive
in the Children’s Hospital.

Almost 35 new dengue patients were reported in Jinnah Hospital, 24 in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, 33 in the Services Hospital and one in Institute of Public Health. In addition, more or less 72 dengue patients were tested positive in different public and private
hospitals, laboratories and clinics during the last three days of Eid-ul-Azha in Lahore.

Therefore, the overall intensity of dengue virus has been diminished to a great extent. Only ten new dengue cases had been diagnosed during the last 24 hours in Lahore, alone.

Approximately 205 dengue patients are under treatment in the city of Lahore. Almost 20,412 patients have been restored to health and released from the various hospitals in Punjab. In the meantime, 17,184 dengue patients have been treated and discharged from
the various hospitals in Lahore, alone.

More or less 63 dengue sufferers have been restored to health and released from different hospitals and healthcare centres during the last 24 hours, in Lahore. Out of which, 28 dengue patients were released from the Mayo Hospital and one from the

Lahore General Hospital.

Around about 13 dengue patients were discharged from the Services Hospital, 9 from the Jinnah Hospital, and 6 from the Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital. Approximately, 5 dengue victims were discharged from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and one patient was released
from the Mian Munshi Hospital.
