South Superstar Rajinikanth will join hands with Amir Khan

After a cameo in Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Ra.One’ and romancing with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Robot, the South superstar Ranjinikanth will make the team with Amir Khan for public service advertisement.

About 20 years back, an Indian Film actor, producer and screenwriter Rajni was appeared in a commercial for Polio awareness but now, he always stays away from endorsements and he agreed with that because of good purpose.  In 1995, Amir and Rajni worked together
in ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’ and this film was directed by Dilip Shankar.

Amir Khan also joined Rajni for a noble cause, while the Health Ministry wanted to special awareness advertisement campaign about the starvation in children. The purpose of this advertisement is only highlighting the effects on death rates of children in
rural areas.

Sources said, “A recent study stated that the mortality rate among children is high due to malnutrition, which is why the government decided to spread awareness on the subject through an ad campaign. Actor Aamir has also been roped in for the initiative,
which will advocate the eradication of malnutrition.”

The sources added, “Rajini does not endorse any product, but when he was told that it was an ad film for an awareness programme and he is readily agreed. Aamir too agreed instantly on learning that Rajini Sir is also part of the campaign.”

Amir is planning to do something different with Rajnikanth and he wants to go beyond just a cameo in his film, but right now he does not want to discuss anything with anyone.

There will be hoardings of the actors all over the country in a bid market campaign. The actors will travel to different parts of the country to promote the advertisement. Amir told the media that, he is sure there will be jobs more than 1.2 billion to entertain
people, but as a citizen of this country he is very sensitive. He added, “As my commitment to children is very high in my heart, I want to contribute as much as I can.”

WCD secretary DK Sikri said that Amir was involved in many social causes. Whenever, they approached Amir and then they found him very informative. Let’s see whether Amir and Rajni’s fulfil their purpose or not.
