Zulfiqar Mirza to supply proof against Altaf Hussain in House of Lords

Zulfiqar Mirza, the former Sindh Home Minister, will articulate in the House of Lords in London on Wednesday at 11 p.m PST where he is expected to supply proof to the House of Lords against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain. Mirza reached
London from Karachi through Dubai, and contacted to the Scotland Yard Police in London.

Mirza said, while talking to a journalist at Heathrow airport, ,that  during his stay in British House of Lords,  he will give evidence to the House against Altaf Hussain concerning the assassination of MQM leader Imran Farooq, who was also the  right-hand
of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.

 “I will tell the authorities here that Britain is becoming a reason for terror in Pakistan by giving shelter to the accused,” he claimed.

The President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has warned his party workers to avoid contacts with Mirza. Despite of that warning, Sindh information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon along with PPP MPAs Imdad Pitafi and Fayyaz Butt were also with him in the same
flight.

Before leaving for London, Mirza said at the Karachi airport, that he was going to London for a week and people of Pakistan will hear a good news soon regarding a breakthrough in the case of Dr. Imran Farooq assassination. . “I have two briefcases filled
with proof which will help the Scotland Yard police,” he said.

MQM articulates qualms at Mirza’s attendance in London 

MQM showed solemn qualms over official protocol being given to Mirza besides asking Sharjeel’s company with Mirza in London, reported Express 24/7.

Babar Ghauri, a leader of MQM told the media outside Parliament House on Wednesday that Mirza was seen off at Karachi airport by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supporters.

He added that MQM desires an explanation from PPP leadership on the company of Sharjeel with Mirza in London on the accusations he is putting against the MQM.

Ghauri also said that MQM met the Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani for a detailed discussion and Gilani assured that an investigation will be done on the issue. A rendezvous is also expected with the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.

Ghauri also added that Gilani ordered Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take necessary action according to the law on the people who have been arrested and on display of arms.
