Akshay Kumar delighted with his return to action movie

Having worked in a number of comedy movies and a few emotional dramas recently, the veteran Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar is happy to return to his pet genre of action with a thrilling film, `Rowdy Rathore`.

His upcoming project is a remake of Telugu film `Vikramarkudu` and the exciting posters coupled with electrifying slogans like `Faulad ki Aulad` and `Ilaka tera dhamaka mera`, have already generated huge curiosity among Indian viewers.

Any of his recent flicks failed to impress the audience but the pundits of the industry are citing `Rowdy Rathore` as an interesting film that might help Akshay revive his glory days on the big screen.

The original `Khiladi` of Bollywood is also delight to do action movie after a long gap of six years, hoping that the picture will be a huge hit.

"I am returning to action after six years. The film has been visualised by the director in a manner which is reflected in the posters and the slogans. It`s a great feeling to be doing an action film again," Akshay told reporters.

The sizzling actress, Sonakshi Sinha, who earned massive fame with her super duper hit film Dabangg, is playing the female lead role in `Rowdy Rathore – the movie directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will hit big screen next June.

Despite a few big flops, Akshay does not have time to even scratch his head at the moment, as he is engaged in a lot of projects.

A couple of movies `Joker` and `Housefull 2` are in production while `Desi Boyz` is all set to release within next few days.

Admitting the fact that the he is too busy these days, the 44-year-old artist stated, "I don`t remember any year in my career of 20 years which has not been busy as I have given 3-4 films to the industry each year."

When asked about the storyline of his imminent flick ‘Desi Boyz’, Akshay shared, "It is based on a real-life incident where a Pakistani and an Indian guy, who used to stay together, lost their jobs due to recession and became male escorts."
