Vice-chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University visits Chitral sub Campus

The vice-chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Upper Dir Professor Dr. Jahandar Shah has said that the Chitral campus of the university has been established successfully and it will upgraded to an independent Terich
University in Chitral which was the long cherished dream of the people of Chitral who loved and valued education.

Addressing a function in the university campus on Thursday, Dr. Jahandar Shah said that university has launched four-year B.S. program in its main campus as well as in Chitral in consistence with the needs of the international
standard and needs. He said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University would not only enable youth to get higher education at their doorsteps but also help them to study the rich biodiversity of the area.

Talking to a gathering of people on his inspection, the vice-chancellor said that the four-year program in different disciplines of science and humanities would provide the students with research oriented knowledge while the degree
will be accepted at par with the universities on global level.

Further eulogizing the four-year program of degree, Mr. Jahandad Shah said a master degree holder from a Pakistani university had to undergo two-year master program afresh for his enrolment in the universities abroad and the introduction
of the new system has solved this issue for the last time.

He said that the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University has marched a long way towards its goal within a short span of two years while the establishment of Chitral campus is also one of its main achievements which has provided the students
to achieve education at their doorsteps. He assured the people that the campus would very soon get its own building for which he will exercise his influence in the provincial government.

Dr. Jahandar said that both the regular and private students of Chitral are being provided all required facilities regarding the conduction of examination in their doorstep while in the past, they faced tremendous hardships and
inconvenience. They assured the University of All out support on behalf of their respective organizations in Chitral to further the services for the students.

On this occasion, controller of examinations Professor Muhammad Roze Khan and the principals of different public and private sector colleges were present.
