Guns and Roses keyboardist, Dizzy Reed denies the prospects of a new album in near future

Guns and Roses or commonly referred as GnR’s ongoing concerts in different states of US has led to talks about a follow up album to their 2008’s album “Chinese Democracy”, which failed to make an impact that GnR’s previous albums made in 1990’s however it
was a moderate hit.

Their Keyboardist and the only remaining member from the original lineup apart from Axl Rose, Dizzy Reed, talking to billboard.com recently denied the possibility of another album’s release any time soon.

"We haven’t really talked a lot about that," Reed tells Billboard.com. "There’s a lot we’ve recorded, a lot of material back when we started working on ‘Chinese Democracy,’ so there’s a quite a bit of unreleased stuff that would be really cool to finish
and put out." In addition to that, he adds, "everyone has great ideas and songs and stuff, so we’re always sort of bouncing stuff off each other. I’m recording stuff all the time; I’ll record something and say, ‘Hey, this might be cool’ and play it for everybody
and just kind of go from there. I think eventually something’s got to give, and then it’s gonna come out."

Axl Rose earlier hinted at the prospect of another album in a TV interview however he did not dish out any particulars which sent current Gnr fans into frenzy however, Dizzy’s recent statement has closed the debate for a while now.

The band that saw its peak in the 90s has not able to impress its fans since the departure of lead guitarist Slash and bassist Duff Mckagan in mid 90s. During their peak, the band gave hits like “Sweet Child of mine” “November rain” “Paradise City” “Don’t
cry” “Estranged” and many others which still give their fans goose bumps.

It was a sad day for the fans when GnR disbanded because in coming years, the lethal combination of talented musicians could have given so many more hits. Dizzy on the other side, was never too bothered with the modifications and changes of faces in the
band and according to him, this current lineup is the best GnR ever had.

"The best version of Guns N’ Roses that I’ve ever been in. I think everyone is just super-talented, and it’s just great chemistry. Everyone is a lot of fun to be around and a lot of fun to play with, so to me it’s definitely the best lineup we’ve had."
