Actors Ashton and Demi Moore have announced the end to their six-year marriage and have filed for divorce. The duo admitted that it has been a hard time but the decision will do well for both the parties involved.
Moore stated that she has certain values and wants to follow them so leaving Ashton is the best option.
Ashton Kutcher was guilty of an extra marital affair a few months back which rocked the marriage but there had been reports that the two had come to terms and Moore had forgiven her husband. But after a series of rumours, it was
announced this week that the two will not be together any more.
Demi Moore, in a statement released to the press, claimed that she will end the six-year old relationship and admitted that she is very sad about it. She insisted that there are some sacred vows and ethics she has lived her life
with and wants to move on with her life now. The actress remained hopeful that she would be given the privacy that is needed in a tough time.
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen
to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family and I would ask for the same compassion and privacy,” she said in a statement to the press.
Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher announced the end to the relationship via his Twitter account stating that the marriage has been unfortunate but sent his best wishes to Demi Moore.
“Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK,” he tweeted.
The couple married in September 2005 in Israel. Kutcher has replaced Charlie Sheen in the hit series ‘Two and a Half Men’ in May this year and is reportedly being paid 20 million dollars for one season.
