Muslim League – Nawaz’s Faisalabad stage show

After getting stunned by the procession of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Muslim League-Nawaz gave everything to make their Faisalabad procession successful. The procession although got the crowd and infuriated speeches of several top law makers from PML-N including
the veteran leader himself, Mian Nawaz Shareef.

However, still PML-N failed to make it large, in spite the fact that they had tried their best to copy the trend of playing national songs in their procession. The reason I termed this procession an unsuccessful one is that the general public didn’t have
any warmth regarding the pageant, as one could feel it quite clearly when Imran Khan’s procession was about to take place.

There was excitement all round from young kids to old civilians as if everyone wants to tell these self proclaimed rulers of democracy that they had swallowed enough of their unfulfilled promises. Moreover, they are the reason why Pakistan is suffering quite
badly today because ever since the two parties (PML-N and PPP) came into the rule the financial situation had gone worse.

The youngsters, who had plenty jobs and business opportunities back in former President Pervez Mushraf’s regime, are now wondering around as there is dearth of work due to lack of openings. It was because of this frustration and anger that the population
of the metropolises want a change and they want to bring in new faces, who could deliver what these traditional politicians had failed to do.

More importantly the people of Pakistan now want clean politicians and in form of Imran Khan and Tehreek-Insaaf they had finally found the reciprocal of these seasoned politicians, who have no aim to spread education, medical facilities and create job openings
for this nation that is betrayed in every election over the promises of making these amenities available to them.

The sole aim of these traditional political parties is “Loto te Photo”. The procession of November 20, 2011 by PML-N was not more than a failed attempt to convince the people of Pakistan that this is the party that can deliver what the nation is looking
for. However, now these traditional parties wouldn’t be able to make a fool out of this nation through their ‘rental’ stage shows.
