Who said Paper Media will be a thing of the past in the upcoming future?

There is no doubt about the widespread and coverage of the electronic, as well as the print media at this very moment in history of civilisation. There has never been a time, at least of which we know of, where media has been so up-to-date and quick in providing
people with the latest happenings and most recent updates about anything around the world.

According to recent reports, print media, like newspapers and magazines, will be a thing of the past in the upcoming future. Many people might think that it is still a long time away, but in the view of many analysts, the printing part of media will be eliminated
sometime as soon as 2015.

Looking at it from one side, it really does look as if the electronic media and digital age will be taking over anything and everything that has to do with having to either physically write or print.

With inventions such as the iPad and other reading devices, the idea of actually having a newspaper of weekly/monthly magazine being delivered to your doorstep is becoming outdated with each passing day, but observing the same viewpoint from a different
angle, does it really look as if print media will really be dissolved one day?

The answer to that is probably definitely uncertain but is highly unlikely due to a few very simple, yet complex answers.

With the continuous developments in the technology sector, we the people, are scrambling to keep up with all the new happenings around use and can be outdated very, very quickly indeed.

In order to redesign the paper aspect of the print media, in my own personal opinion, the new technology which is based on flexible AMOLED screens just might be the answer.

Nokia was one of the companies to have showed off some of the potential in just technology by showcasing phones made out of the silicon material, flexible AMOLED screens, and looking at one surely is impressive.

Like the flexible material our phone covers are currently made off, the same concept is applied to these concept phones, which was the screen in the middle with an extremely bendable body on the outside.

The phone could be moved by the right and left hand in order to go back or forward along with giving other commands on the phone just from the way the edges and corners were moved with your hands.

Realising that this is just the start of creating electronics in this manner, it is very hard to imagine where it could be in the next 10 years, hence, make for a great newspaper or your favourite magazine, being delivered to you with a easily bent body
to replicate a newspaper sense of feel and a constantly updated AMOLED in the middle.

For those who have seen the movie, “Harry Potter”, they can slightly imagine what I am talking about, but in the movie, the newspapers are constantly changing and being updated on the paper in the form of magic, for us, it will something similar but with
different materials.

Only a decade ago, we could possibly not have imagined that one day smart-touch phones would be as common as to seeing them everywhere. What we imagine today barely has any effect on tomorrow, making this thought one to ponder upon.
