Corruption of rulers leads the country towards disaster, says Chief Minister Punjab

Lahore, November 24: Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab Chief Minister (CM), said that corruption of rulers has caused immense harm to the country and if it continues in the similar manner, the county soon will suffer with an unavoidable disaster.

CM was addressing to a meeting of the workers and members of national assembly of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), on Wednesday. He said that if of PML-N had in the central government, the country would not have suffered with such miserable circumstances.

Another important aspect, which CM described, is that the rulers are getting personal benefits on the cost of the sovereignty of Pakistan. However, he confidently said that every sacrifice and effort will be made to defend the sovereignty of the country.

Shahbaz further said that numerous people of have sacrificed their lives for the creations of this homeland and also sacrificed to get a society where law possesses the supreme authority and where every individual is equal in the eye of law, whether he belongs
to the downtrodden class or the rich gentry of the country.

CM also added that the current rulers are taking Pakistan in such a direction which is completely against the vision of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam. The country is going against the basic purpose of its creation. He also pointed out the class difference
which has become one of the most important reasons of this miserable condition of general masses.

The elite class enjoys every privilege while a lay man, who belongs to the lower class, is denied even the basic rights of his survival. CM said that this miserable condition of the country is the result of the failure of government.

CM also said that the rulers are getting loans of millions and millions of dollars, but the condition of people in this country is getting worst with the every passing day. The corruption of the incompetent leaders has gone beyond imagination.

He also highlighted the issues of a common man who is suffering with soaring prices of basic amenities of life, unemployment, load-shedding and many other problems. Incompetent rulers cannot solve these problems as they have failed in all aspects.

However, CM also said the PML-N is the party that has the solution of these problems as this party has been serving the country for a longer period of time.
