Kareena Kapoor, the sexiest woman in Asia

Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor has topped the list of the sexiest Asian women in the world, a recent survey has suggested.
A weekly, Eastern Eye conducted a survey through different social networking websites like ‘Twitter’, and Kareen emerged as the sexiest lady in Asia, edging out another Indian artist, Katrina Kaif who was last year’s winner.
Kareena has certainly been the most successful heroine in Bollywood over the last couple of years. After giving a super duper hit, Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, the actress touched the peak of glory with another blockbuster, Ra One – the movie produced by the
King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan.
She won the competition by a tiny margin of one percent, and Katrina, who won previous three consecutive titles, slipped down to the second spot.
The 31-year-old actress, widely known as Bebo, started off her career in 2000. The younger sister of another Bollywood queen Karishma Kapoor, shot into limelight soon after the release of her opening movie, Refugee – also Abhishek Bachan’s debut flick
So far in her film career, Kareena has scooped many national awards for her brilliant acting in lot of successful pictures, such as Ashoka, Jab We Met, 3 Idiots, Golmaal and Kambakkht Ishq.
"This battle between the two beauties is a sign of things to come in Bollywood in the next few years. Although the list contained pop stars, TV personalities, models and film stars from around the world, the voting quite comprehensively showed that Kareena
and Katrina have put a distance between themselves and the rest of the contenders in terms of popularity," said Asjad Nazir, Eastern Eye showbiz editor.
Priyanka Chopra (3), Bipasha Basu (4), Frieda Pinto (5) and Deepika Padukone (7) are some other notable faces in the list of the sexiest ladies in the region. A few fresh entries include Jacqueline Fernandez (12), Nargis Fakhri (23) and Sonakshi Sinha (38).
Hrithik Roshan’s wife, Sussanne unexpectedly secured 16th position in the chart by receiving massive number of votes. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who recently gave birth to a baby girl, sealed 6th place while Sonam Kapoor came at 9. Lara Dutta
clinched number 15 and Malaika Arora Khan stood at 19.
