Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PPP) chairman, Imran Khan, has insisted that his party is not supported by hidden elements. At a rally in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Friday, Imran said that his party only and only belongs to the entire country.

“We have no unseen backers, the PTI belongs to the entire country. The ‘PTI tsunami’ has reached Peshawar and no one can stop it”, Imran said.

Although the Party’s spokesman claimed that there were at least 100,000 people at the rally, intelligence sources stress that only 10,000 people had attended the rally.

Imran also said during his speech that his side aims to make Pakistan a new country, where old politics, parties, lies and deceit will not exist.

“We want a new Pakistan, where old politics, parties and lies will not exist”, Imran said.

He also revealed that his party aims to hold political meetings in Multan, Ghotki and Karachi in the days to come. The PTI chief also promised about uniform education and financial equity. He added that his party will liberate the masses from the clutches
of inflation though he did not reveal the method that how his party will do that.

“We will take both wickets of Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif in a single ball”, the former Pakistani cricket team captain said to cheering participants.

Iftikhar Khan Jhagra, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, formally joined PTI on Friday, announcing his resignation from the PPP central executive committee. Saleem Jan Khan, Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan’s first cousin, also joined
PTI after Imran Khan visited his residence on Friday.
