Arjun Rampal, the famous Bollywood actor celebrated his 39th birthday on the first day’s set of his upcoming flick ‘Heroine’. Interestingly the same sequence will be used in the film, as the character’s birthday. Arjun is not confirmed
if the birthday was pre-planed by director Madhur Bhandarkar.

"I don`t know if Madhur planned it that way. But we ended up shooting my character`s birthday cake-cutting scene on my birthday on Saturday. Normally, you`ve a star cutting a cake on his birthday on the sets. But doing it on camera
in character is, I think slightly unusual," said Arjun.

Arjun’s birthday was actually on 26, but the celebration came with the ongoing shooting of his film ‘Heroine’.

The reports have revealed that Arjun is playing the role of an emerging actor in the movie, who gets involved with a top actress and by chance the birthday sequence that the director used for the film, matched with his real birthday.

The Bollywood actor praises her co-star Kareena Kapoor, who is playing the role of a successful actress with a leading role as ‘Mahi Khanna’.

"She looked stunning at the shooting," said Arjun.

Bhandarkar also stated that Kareena had also been the first choice for his previous films Page 3 and Fashion, but she refused without giving any reasons.

The Bollywood dashing actor while talking on the celebration of his birthday said that he has not arranged any major event and it was a small get together where close friends were invited. He also said that last year his birthday
celebration went a like a grand event and expressed that the coming years will also go in the same way.

The first promo of the movie was released as part of the 64th Cannes Film Festival and the first promotional poster was issued during a press conference in which movie was  officially announced by Ronnie Screwvala of
UTV Motion Pictures, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The film is portraying the life and times of a superstar heroine from a big film industry.

Arjun is recently hosting a TV show for a show called “Luv to Hate You” where he tries to convince his close friends from the film history to have a face-to-face meeting with their fans.
