Malaika Arora Khan: I am happy where I am
The Indian model Malaika Arora Khan has said that she is happy where she is at the moment in film industry.
Malaika added that she has been always clear that cinema is not her priority and that her family is.
The Indian television personality Malaika talked to the media and mentioned that she is more than glad doing the occasional special number in movies and basking in its glory. In addition, she stated that if she has to do a full-fledged role as a one-off
thing, then she will not mind to trying it in her career.
She told the reporters that she is doing an item number called Anarkali Disco Chali for the film, for which she got to work with Farah Khan again and dance with Bollywood super stars Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and another Mithunda.
Apart from that, Malaika talked about his husband Arbaaz khan’s upcoming project, Dabangg 2, which will see Arbaaz turn from being just producer to director as well very soon.
Talking to reporters, she commented, “The project means a lot to Arbaaz and there’s a lot riding on him. I’m hoping to be able to chip in with the back-end work once we start rolling early next year. Whether I get to work in the film is yet to be worked
out. Sure, why not? I have already done a special number in the south with Mahesh Babu in Athithi, so I am open to doing work here.”
By her own admission, the Indian actress Malaika has not been to Bangalore in a long while, but she says about her most recent trip that she could not have come at a more opportune time, though it is a rather whistle-stop tour.
She went on to mention, “The weather is just lovely here and there’s a nip in the air. I wish I had more time to be here and enjoy some good food. The last time I was here, my friends took me to a place on MG Road where you get fabulous thali meals. I guess
that’ll have to wait till the next time I’m here.”
