Grammy Award 2012 nominations

The nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards 2012 have been finalized. The committee of the Grammy Awards has decided Seventy eight categories and the worthy winners for the respective award will be announced on the 12^th of February 2012.

The young English singer and a song writer, Adele, has been declared as the queen of the Grammy Award nominations. The twenty three year old is placed in more than one category for her album 21.

While the American raps star singer and a record producer Kanye West, is declared as the king of the Grammy Award nominations. In the year 2011 this hip hop musician has been surprising the music lovers with his stunning and thrilling numbers.

 Nomination for more than one category has helped the show stealer to grab the spot light.

Besides Adele and Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Bruno Mars have also been highlighted in the Grammy nominations.

Adele for her “Rolling in the Deep” from album 21 has crossed her fingers. The track has been selected for the nomination of Song of the year and Record of the Year, where as her album 21 is placed in the category of Album of the Year.

Assisting Adele in the Album of the Year category, Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’, Bruno Mars’s ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’, Rihanna’s ‘Loud’ and Foo Fighter’s ‘Wasting Light’ are also present in the nominations.

Kanye West will be battling in the category of Song of the Year for ‘All of the Lights’ and for the Best Rap Album two of his fanatical numbers, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ and ‘Watch the Thorns’ which is one of his smashing numbers collaborated
with Jay Z has been selected.

For the second occasion, the Best Rap Song, ‘All of the Lights’ and Watch’s ‘Otis’ is nominated.

Adele is on cloud nine with her six nominations, the young singer was recently placed the list of richest under thirty stars of United Kingdom. The prominence she has been acquiring from the Grammy Award 2012 nominations, is showing where exactly the wealthiest
star is going.

On the 12^th of February 2012, along with the prestigious award the auspicious stars will be given a chance to enjoy the glee.
