Tusshar Kapoor wants to do solo movies

Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor has given a lot of multi-starrer hits, but still does not want to give up his wish to do solo movies.

After starting his film career with the hit movie ‘Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai’ in 2001, Tusshar has done a lot of solo pictures, but none of his projects earned any notable fame.

However, as far as his multi-starrer movies are concerned, he has done a lot of good work so far. The list of his super duper flicks includes Golmaal, Khakee and Kyaa Kool Hai Hum. Although, Jeetendra’s son is comfortable with mega-cast movies, he wants
to become super star by proving his mettle in the solo movies.

"My first film was a solo – Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and that was a hit but then there were a few flop films. I have not had a solo hit for quite some time. I am aiming for a solo hit and luckily I am getting opportunities. I did have offer for solo films –
the one film with Rajshri banners – Love You Mr Kalakar but it did not work for me," Tusshar said.

"I am not giving up on solo films. Multi starrers are keeping me safe. They are also risky but I feel I am fortunate enough to be part of very good big multi starrers. A solo film is must…it is something I will not give up," added the 35-year-old artist.

His new movie ‘The Dirty Picture’ has just hit the big screen but failed to make an impression. The story is all about a film actress who wants to be famous by hook or crook. Some of his movies such as Run Bhola Run and Golmaal 4 are in the line-up to be
released.

He belongs to a well-known famous family and therefore, Tusshar has always been a subject of criticism. Yet, he has impressed the critics on number of occasions following his excellent acting in the movies. He is yet to establish himself as super star and
only time will tell that whether he holds the potential to become an icon.
