Twitter Renews Its Design While Google+ Introduces More Changes

The social media network has decided that it will change the interface which will bring it in line with the mobile version. On the other hand, Google+ plans to introduce easy recognition for labelling photos while also restricting
their use.

Social networks have changed their appearance or services periodically, and in some cases too strongly, which has fatigued the surfer. Users then must have to learn new routines to continue their online presence.

Twitter has not changed its design for a long period now and the users of the Social Media Network are bracing themselves for change. They have announced some significant changes coming in the near future, with the intention to
facilitate user navigation.

"There are fewer places to click and therefore less to learn to handle Twitter” Jack Dorsey, the creator of twitter, said as he presented the pattern of the network.

Dorsey says they have done many tests with the Internet and are ready to take the big step. "Everything is simple," he said.

Twitter will also facilitate the insertion of messages posted on their website in other websites. The new interface, which will come at the end of this year, will be the same for mobile phones.

The page will be divided into two main areas. On the right, from the point of view of someone watching the screen, will be the tweets and on left it has been proposed that members can follow the trends.

The responses to messages will be located in the Connect, which will include interactions (references to our tweets, fans).

The area comprises the trending topics and selection will be based on the location of the Internet, language of the locality and people, while photos and videos will be integrated into the main flow.

Nevertheless, these are not the only changes introduced by the social networks. Facebook will export the subscribe button. So far, the social network used to track public updates without the consideration that one is a friend of
another member or not. Now it will be offered to track updates of members.

For their part, Google + will introduce a system of facial recognition for labelling photos. Unlike Facebook, to use the tool requires the express permission of the provider and only automatic labelling of known images is available.

President of Google, Eric Schmidt, said that this been contrary to this tool. Following Facebook’s precedence, Schmidt said Google has the technology available to them, but have not implemented it because of privacy dangers.
