Ali Zafar took two Pakistani female singers for LPNY

London, Paris, New York- an upcoming Bollywood flick, has taken another twist after news in India suggest that Ali Zafar, the musical director of the movie has taken two unknown talented singers on board.

Reports in India earlier suggested that the Pakistani singer-cum-actor has done the music himself but now news have emerged that the talented musician has called in the services of two female voices from Pakistan.

Ammara Hikmat, Ali’s music publicist has herself admitted on twitter: “Ali Zafar has taken two female singers from Pakistan with amazing vocals to add that oomph to LPNY’s music”

Ali knew that the breakthrough he has been provided by the Indian film industry is dependent upon this chance after making a promise to his followers that the music for LPNY would not be conventional.

If speculations are to believed, Hadiqa Kiyani and Meesha Shafi are helping Ali on the latest project but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Ali, who started his acting career from “Tere Bin Laden”, will also appear in the upcoming movie in a lead male role along with the female lead actress, Aditi Rao.

LPNY- is a romantic comedy and it revolves around a couple who spent little time with each other, which later turned out to be a love journey, in three different cities as indicated by the name.

The Pakistani pop icon, Ali, admitted that the project came to him in a rush and they started working on it in a month’s time.

“The project took off suddenly and in a month’s time we were rolling.  I used to jam on Skype with my composer back home before returning to my studio in Lahore for the recording.”

He added: “The song dedicated to London will be happier with simpler notes, as compared to the one set in Paris that will be edgier. The track set in New York will be more refined.”

According to some reports Ali Zafar has composed sic tracks in LPNY, which is set to release in February, 2012. The much anticipated movie is directed by Anu Menon and produced by Goldie Behl.
