Iffi Butt runs wild in LUMS as he helps himself edge closer to another victory

Bahria University travelled to LUMS to participate in an inter-university sports gala.

Having beaten the team from Lahore on their last visit, the Bahrians were looking to continue their hot streak over their opponents as they looked to pick up another impressive win.

Upon reaching LUMS, after a 7 hour road trip, the team found out that they had two hours to get ready and prepare themselves for the match.

Not putting up an argument, the team went ahead and prepared themselves for the game, since they knew their chances of winning were higher than ever, considering the fact that Iffi Butt was in their squad.

The young midfielder/forward/defender/goal keeper had been having the best career any footballer could ask for and his versatility on and off the pitch was bound to help the BU team.

Bahria eventually took to the field against a LUMS side that was dressed in silver. Despite the BU squad wearing blue, Iffi Butt decided to wear his signature orange jersey.

The match was a constant battle between the two sides, as they kept attacking each others goal. However, in the 80^th minute a free kick was swung into the Bahria area and their keeper rushed out and punched the ball. Having been silent for the
whole game, Iffi Butt rose to the occasion and lobbed the ball over the keeper into the back of the net. 

Iffi Butt soon found out that he had scored an own goal, however, he didn’t seem to care since his name was on the score sheet and many believe that, that was his only goal while stepping onto the pitch.

Despite the loss, Iffi Butt managed to pump up the teams spirit by offering them all the opportunity to score an own goal in fixtures down the road.

As a result, the match ended with the final score reading, Iffi Butt 1, BU and LUMS 0.
