Bahria University’s football team looking to win PandG football tournament

Following their defeat at LUMS, the Bahria Unviersty Football team is looking to get back to their winning ways in the upcoming Pand G football tournament.

The event is set to be hosted in the Sports Complex, with a number of top universities from all across Islamabad participating in the event.

The team is set to take all eighteen members this time around, with Iffi Butts name being amongst the first to be penned down.

Musa Afridi, Areeb Khan, Faizan Sameer, Ahmad Mehdi, Fouad Ashraf, Abbas Qasmi and Nahayan Shahzada are amongst the other players who will also be returning to the team for the tournament.

The team is looking to try and introduce a new game plan, since the last time they took to the field, their 4-4-2 formation just didn’t seem to work out.

The strikers didn’t see much of the ball and with one of the two ending up getting injured, the plan was very short lived.

This time around the team is looking to have one player in the centre, who can distribute the ball and kill plays. Areeb Khan would have been the immediate choice, but Iffi Butt is more than likely to convince the senior player to give up his spot, simple
because he asked for it.

With the mercurial midfielder in the middle of the team, there is a ninety nine percent chance that the team is going to go far in the tournament.

At the moment, the team is also looking to adopt a new kit for the team. At the moment they have to use the same kits as the rest of the sports teams, but they are looking to break free of that.

Iffi Butt has been suggesting the team to get a orange jersey, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
