Sony Computer Entertainment has announced The Last of Us, a new exclusive franchise for domestic desktop platform PlayStation 3. The game, which is being developed by Naughty Dog, creators of the hit series Uncharted has a team that includes some of the
game developers with more talent in the industry, as Bruce Straley, the game director, and Neil Druckmann, director creative, and was presented with a trailer first in the Spike TV 2011 Video Game Award Show.

According to its creators say, production is an experience that will define a new genre of game that combines the ‘survival’ to action, to tell, through the road trip of a survivor, the history of a population decimated by a modern plague.

As a scenario found abandoned towns are invaded by nature, while the survivors kill each other for food, weapons or anything else you can take to the mouth. Joel, a tough survivor, and Elli, a brave and cunning teenager, must work together to survive a trip
through the remainder of the United States.

"We are excited to finally introduce The Last of Us, a project that takes time and hard team work," stated Evan Wells, co-president of Naughty Dog. "Naughty Dog’s mission is to change the way the audience experiences the game. We hope that The Last of Us
take a leap forward in what kinematic and argument matching is concerned, giving players an experience like no There is no one in this industry. "

And “it’s not a Zombie game” insisted Straley Druckmann who further adds, “If the game was about the monsters, we would have not showed them. The story’s not about them, so [we thought] let’s get it out of the way.”
