Berto-Ortiz set battle it out again early next year

"Vicious" Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto, protagonists of the best races of this year in April, will be facing each other again next February.

At that time, Ortiz got the win and the title Welterweight World Boxing Council (WBC) but not before visiting the canvas twice, like Berto.

They will now again battle  on Saturday February 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in an much anticipated 12-round rematch with the event being  promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, DiBella Entertainment and Showtime.

"I am ready to go to war again against Berto," he said Ortiz, who holds record of 02.03.29, with 22 knockouts.

"I had hoped this lawsuit. It is a duel and I want people demanded battle. These are the races that make boxing so great," said Berto."I’m very excited to get ready and able to make another classic. But the point is, Ortiz has to go!" Threatened.

"The Berto-Ortiz I was a candidate for ‘Fight of the Year’ and fans can expect more of the same in this important rematch," said Lou DiBella, president of DiBella Entertainment.

It is still in the memory of those scenes when boxadictos both fighters engaged in a give and take that continued throughout the 12 rounds of combat.In the end, Ortiz had captured the title with a hard fought victory by unanimous decision with scores of
115-110, 114-111, 114-112.

Berto, a Haitian Olympic team member in 2004, goes back into the ring with a track record of 28-1 (22 KOs).
