Priyanka Chopra says ‘Don 2 – The King is Back’ could turn out to be a classic

The Indian actress and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra, is hoping her much-anticipated upcoming movie ‘Don 2 – The King is Back’ with the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, is going to be a big blockbuster
hit.

Don 2, which has been directed by actor-director Farhan Akhtar, is going to be released tomorrow in the cinemas worldwide and Priyanka, who will be playing a lead role, is expecting much from the movie.

The slick promos of Don 2 have already earned a few million hits on Youtube as a result to which many critics are assuming Don 2 to be the latest film to reach a Rs 100 crore mark this year. However, Priyanka
believes the fate of any film cannot just be decided through a trailer but on the same note she admitted of knowing the excitement among the people.

Priyanka said, “I don’t think you can decide the fate of ‘Don 2’ by just looking at the trailer. No one can predict the destiny of a movie like that. But with the kind of anticipation and excitement people
seem to be having with ‘Don 2’, its signalling that it can be a potential big movie. It could turn out to be a ‘cult’, you never know.”

Priyanka also shared her feeling for SRK, who will be seen playing a villains role in the movie. She said she has learnt a lot from Shahrukh and it was a great experience for her.

Priyanka stated, “Shah Rukh is somebody who challenges himself with everything. It’s not really him but people around him who need to toss him up with things they might want him to live up to when it comes
to movies. Shah Rukh Khan can live up to anything.”

Don 2, which has been made by spending almost a budget of Rs 75 crore, will be released in 41 countries tomorrow and all left to see is whether if this movie will really bring the year 2011 to an apt end
or not.
