4th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto be to observed tomorrow

Karachi: (Monday, December 26, 2011) The PPP led government is to observe fourth death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto tomorrow. In order to mark the day with due respect, a number of events have planned throughout
the country while the day has been declared a public holiday in Sindh.

The PPP has decided to organise a big public meeting on December 27, at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto to pay tribute to the great leader in recognition of her life-long struggle for the cause of democracy and protection of rights of
the people.

Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wasan has directed Provincial Home Department and Sindh Police to take convincing security measures under a special strategy for all the programmes which would be organised to mark the death
anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

Manzoor Hussain Wasan has directed that effective arrangements be made to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on all important streets in Sindh because convoys would be coming from all over the country to attend the death anniversary.

He has also directed to allow entry to Mazar of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana only after passage through walk-through gates and checking with metal detectors.

He also directed to make security arrangements at hotels, restaurants, bus stands, railway station and other important places in Larkana, on December 27.

In this regard, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah held a meeting on December 11 with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani and MNA Dr. Nasarullah
Baloch at the CM House here.

They held a detailed discussion pertaining to all arrangements of 4th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and a scheduled public meeting of December 27.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah informed the party leaders that public in general and the party workers in particular, from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA and other parts of the country and globe will pay homage and tributes at Garhi
Khuda Bakhsh to their great leader.

He said that necessary arrangements are being made to facilitate the workers and general public on the occasion.

Syed Qaim Sli Shah apprised the meeting that the public meeting of December 27 will be exemplary and historic.
