Salman Khan rules the Bollywood industry in 2011

Salman Khan is originally considered as the weakest when compared to the other Khans (Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan) but this has been Salman’s year, especially when it comes to the movies.

‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’, in which Salman Khan played a lead role, are both among the blockbusters of this year. Both movies have done a great business on the big screens in India as a result to which both
movies are now among the top five grosser of all time.

As per the analysts, Salman Khan has been on the top since the beginning of his career but he never got much appreciation only because of his attitude towards the industry and especially when it comes
to the media.  

However, one of the trade analysts, Taran Adarsh, believes now the things have finally changed for Salman. Adarsh told the media that Salman has given Bollywood three blockbuster movies in two years and
therefore people along with the media has started loving him.

Adarsh said, "Today, Salman is invincible. The public always loved him, now even the media loves him." Once considered the joker in the pack, Salman became the King of Aces when Dabangg (2010) found itself
a place in the highest grossers of that year. He followed this with two blockbusters – Ready and Bodyguard – this year. Bodyguard’s first day’s collection of `22 crore is unheard of in the history of Hindi cinema.”

NR Pachisia in the meantime agreed with Adarsh as well, as he reckons Salman has earned the maximum over the last three years.

Producer-distributor NR Pachisia said, "If you take the sum total of Salman’s box office collections over the last three years, you are bound to come to a mind-boggling figure. Yes, he is the most bankable
star today."

Salman’s best friend Aamir Khan, who is considered as one of the biggest stars in the Bollywood industry, also remarked that Salman deserves all the success  because Aamir thinks Salman is a very much
down to earth.

Aamir insisted, "Salman deserves all the success because he is a simple guy at heart.”
