Shonali Nagrani to co-host ‘Bigg Boss’ show with Sunjay Dutt

The Indian film actress, model and IPL host, Shonali Nagrani, is now going to be seen co-hosting the ‘Bigg Boss’ season 5 show alongside Bollywood’s superstar, Sunjay Dutt.

Nagrani survived many evictions but this time it didn’t work for her. She was nominated along with Amar Upadhyay before she got the boot. However, now she is going to be seen taking Salman Khan’s place
to co-host the eviction episode ‘Aapka Farmaan’ with Sunjay Dutt on the New Year’s Eve.

Shonali was asked in this regard and she also confirmed the news. Shonali further revealed that she is happy on getting a chance share the screen space with Sunjay Dutt, as she thinks Sunjay is a big shot.

Shonali confirmed by saying, “Yes, I am co-hosting the show with Sanjay Dutt on the New Year’s Eve. It a fantastic feeling to share screen space with Sanjay, he is a superb host and a nice man. For now,
I just don’t know one thing that if I will get a chance to interact with the inmates. I am craving to do that as well. I think, I am taking Salman Khan’s place for one episode (laughs).”

Meanwhile, there are a lot of rumours in the air that it was all pre-planned. One of the popular websites disclosed that Nagrani, Laxmi Tripathi and Mehak Chahal stood a strong chance to get back into
the show via a wildcard because the makers of the show wanted to have more contestants in the house to make it exciting.

Nevertheless, the show had to close the voting line since Nagrani backed out as a result to which the makers promised to give her a chance of co-hosting the show with Sunjay Dutt, provided she gets in
the wild card contest.

The source stated, “The deal was that Shonali will get in the wild card entry contest and the makers will give her a chance to co-host the ‘Aapka Farmaan’ eviction episode on New Year`s eve, along with
Sanjay Dutt.”

The absence of Nagrani will surely make Mehak Chahal a hot favorite for the show yet let’s see if any other surprise comes up.
