Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is in it to stay!

Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaaf (PTI) has yet again taken the world by storm with their latest public meeting exceeding over 500,000 people in Karachi, on Sunday, December 25, 2011.

Very honestly, nobody had expected it to be such a massive gathering that too in Karachi, which was considered the political hub of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Mutihida Quami Movement (MQM). Beating all odds, the chief minister of PTI, Imran Khan’s
efforts bore fruitful results in successfully luring general public to attend to his call.

Well, it seemed difficult but not impossible. It was about time that people needed to look past his cricket career which though also narrated a successful run but convieniently shrugged him off as  just a  successful Pakistan’s cricket captain.

Sometimes it also even felt that Mr. Khan was taken easy because of his links to cricket. That can be blamed on the media, who were bent on falsely portraying him as more of player who had a very successful record to show off in the world of cricket which
could not be mirrored at the political level.

However, Mr. Khan proved the negative media projection about him, all wrong by daring to put up successful rallies, one after the other, which had surpassed all previous records in history. I feel, it takes a great deal to stand tall, when one is engulfed
from all sides by extreme pressures of all sorts. It was never an easy ride to his destination, as the success he enjoys today is all because of the 15 years of his unwavering determination for his country. That is why the entire Pakistan has soaring hopes
attached to him for the much-needed change.

His agenda has been the same, i.e. Eradication of Corruption and replacement of that filth with Pure Justice.

It appears that PTI will be the reigning champions in Pakistan’s politics in their forth coming elections in 2013, which is also apparent through the kind of support they are currently showing through their massive rallies of Lahore and Karachi.
