Pakistani actor Imran Abbas all set to make his Bollywood debut

There are already a number of Pakistani artists working for the Bollywood industry and yet another boy from Pakistan, Imran Abbas, will soon be making his debut in Bollywood.

Abbas, who was born in Islamabad, is an architect by professional and he told the media he never had any plans to join showbiz but on the same note the actor stated after doing a few TV shows he realised
he should take the profession seriously.

Abbas was asked by the media that why does he want to join Bollywood on which he replied that there is nothing happening in the Pakistani film industry.

"People in Pakistan have grown up watching Bollywood movies and so have I. It has always been my dream to act in Bollywood movies. So finally, when I got the offer to do a Hindi film, I just couldn’t refuse."

The model-turned-actor will be performing with one of the biggest names in the Bollywood industry, Akshay Kumar, thus he knows he will have to be on his toes all the time.

He added, "I will be making my debut with Akshay Kumar in his next movie. The shooting will start next year in April. It is an action thriller. It’s a great opportunity for me to work with such a big actor.
I will have to get trained in dancing, fighting and many other things for the film."

Abbas was also requested to share his thoughts on the Pakistani artists who are already working in the Bollywood industry. The actor stated he feels proud of Adnan Sami, Ali Zafar and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
for their great performances in India but when it came down to the controversial queen Veena Malik, he said she is a blot on the Pakistani culture.

Abbas remarked, "I think it was a very cheap publicity stunt. It was embarrassing to read all the news about Veena."

Abbas has always been very good on the TV shows in Pakistan. However, let’s see if he can produce the same standards in the Bollywood industry as well.
