Afghan Taliban seek support of Pakistani Taliban to counter US forces

Pakistani and Afghan Taliban have reportedly sworn to concentrate on fighting against the US/NATO forces, battling in Afghanistan, which is a major move on the on war on terrorism front.

A story published in a newspaper explained that Taliban inside the duo countries reached to a conclusion that they would not fight against their own national forces. However, it stated that they would target the NATO and US forces jointly in order to exclude
them from Afghanistan.

Taliban leader Mullah Omer reportedly showed his discontent with the suicide attacks, kidnapping for ransom, and other criminal steps committed by the Taliban in the region, particularly in Pakistan.

As a leader of the rebellious group, he asked his followers across the borders to stop these acts instantly. It seems that the report is true, as the less numbers of such incidents in Pakistan is enough evidence to prove the information.

Similarly, these resistance groups have stopped targeting civilian people in Afghanistan and Pakistan, considering that these are acts of crime and are not in anyhow discouraging the allied forces led by US.

Due to such criminal acts, mainly suicide attacks, thousands of people living in the two neighboring countries have lost their lives for the past few years.

After becoming a front ally with US in the war on terror, Pakistan had had uncovered it to internal volatility, economic ruin and weak defense on the eastern and western borders.

At the same time, it is a serious point of concern for the occupying forces that are already extended thin and have been receiving shattering blows by the Taliban. Ultimately the US came on the dialogue table, commencing negotiations with many militant outfits
in Afghanistan. It is also planning to quit Afghanistan.

Pakistan should offer its services for maintaining stability in Afghanistan as US showing interest in reconciliation process. However, the Americans should not hatch any conspiracy on the western border.

On the other side, the Taliban are planning to re-emerge their previous image and credibility among the local people. They are not giving priority to war much more than the dialogues. The foremost reason is that they want to once again want to govern the
Taliban.
