South Korea seems ready for talks with North Korean counterparts

South Korean government has recently issued a statement regarding a new set of talks between their counterparts and rival North Korea saying as they want to reopen the dialogues in order to bring some firmness in the region.

Foreign Minister Kim Sung-Hwan spoke to a news briefing in the South Korean capital, Seoul and said,

“We are open to dialogue with North Korea. The ball is now in North Korea’s court. We are not in a position to tell what is happening in North Korea.”

The eruption of aggression between the North Korea and South Korea trails a flurry of nuclear pretentiousness however; its factual implication could have deeper roots in an unsettled disagreement over sea limits.

The external world makes out little regarding the isolated North, and both the United States and its ally South Korea come into view to be trapped off guard when state media broadcasted Kim Jong-il’s death last month.

On the other hand, the North has closed its borders since their beloved leader Kim’s death, totally cutting it off from the outside world; even though officials say it emerges the succession process is going smoothly.

All these problems exist since the Korean War in 1953 while will exist if all these issues will not resolve soon. Though, Kim Jong-Un has appointed as new supreme leader of communist Korea, but with less experience and huge expectations, these potential
talks with South will not be providing any positive help resolving all these issues.
