Is Sunny Leone trying to promote porn in India?

The Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone, has been a big issue in India since the very first day she made her entry into the fifth season of one of the most possessed Indian TV shows, Bigg Boss. Indian parents were all worried, as they thought her presence on a reality show can make their children a porn addict. Though things settled down a bit with the passage of time, her recent interview has given birth to a few controversies again.

Sunny Leone’s recently had an exclusive interview with Smita Mishra of India Today and it looks as if she perhaps has tried to promote porn in it.

When Leone was asked to share her experience of being an adult star, she replied by saying that it is just an entertainment industry which helps a lot in life. She then added that girls can earn much money along with a luxurious life by becoming a porn star.

Leone said, “You have whatever life you want. It’s just like any other entertainment industry you are in. There are girls who make an amazing living in this industry and it helps them in everything from personal to business life. Many choices come your way.”

The 30-year-old Leone, who is also a businesswoman and a model, further revealed that being an Indian never bothered her in the profession.

She added, “It just found me and wasn’t hard because of my comfort level with myself. Being Indian didn’t make it more difficult because I didn’t see anything wrong with what I was doing.”

Well, all said and done, everyone knows there is loads of money in the porn industry, especially for girls. Nevertheless, Leone must understand that things are different in the Indian society and her statements can do plenty of damage.

Leone became the most googled personality in India during her stint in the Bigg Boss house and numerous Indian children were found watching her porn videos as a result to which such statements from her can certainly put many of them on the wrong track.
