Jay-Z reopens the 40/40 sports bar – Celebrity News

Seems like, the New Year has brought a lot luck and success for the American rapper Jay-Z (Shawn Corey Carter) as the famous artist and his wife Beyonce Knowles welcomed their daughter Blue Ivy Carter into the world, a little over a week ago on January 7^th.
After the birth of his daughter, the big poppa Hov reopened his 40/40 Club on Wednesday, January 18.

The opening ceremony of the club was a colourful event, which was attended by a lot of famous people of music, tv, and film industry. The celebs showed up and walked the red carpet before entering the redesigned sports bar. Most of Jay’s buddies such as
Steve Stoute, Warren Buffet, Kevin Liles, Spike Lee, and New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia all attended the ceremony.

Jay-Z’s 40/40 sports bar was closed last summer on account of maintenance and renovation. It has been several months that Jigga’s place underwent a lot of makeover and finally came up with the new updated look.

The participants of the opening ceremony already had a great topic to discuss. Everyone talked about the Jay-Z’s new daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. People expressed delight about the reopening of the club and also congratulated the artist for the new born baby.

The female hip hop singer Ashanti was also there, who seemed pretty much delighted about the whole event. She disclosed her thoughts in the following manner: "Hov always has big parties, so I’m definitely looking forward to going inside and mingling and
jingling.”

She couldn’t be happier for the new parents, but when asked if she had caught a bit of baby fever herself, the "Silly" Ashanti said it right away that she is not in the mood to be a mother in the near future.

Irv Gotti, the music entrepreneur and record producer was also present at the 40/40 club reopening ceremony. He said that he has shared some fatherly advice with Jay-Z, which he apparently did not disclose.

It was a really nice gathering, which ended on a happy note.
