Asha Bhosle to be among the judges in ‘Sur kshetra’

According to the reports, the 78-year-old Asha Bhosle, who is one of the best-known and most highly-regarded Hindi playback singers in India, is going to be seen on the small screens after a long time, as she will be one of the judges on Sahara One’s upcoming reality show ‘Sur Kshetra’, which is expected to go on air in the first week of the next month.

Reality show Sur Kshetra is a singing competition, which will feature teams from India and Pakistan. Hamish Reshammiya will be leading the Indian team whereas Atif Aslam will be the captain of team Pakistan. Such a show is being launched for the first time in order to find out the best singer from India and Pakistan.

Previously, Asha Bhosle, who is known best for singing evergreen songs like ‘Mehbooba mehbooba’, ‘Piya tu ab to aaja’, ‘Chura liya hai tumne Jo dil ko’ and ‘Dum maro dum’, had problems with Himesh Reshammiya but it seems as if things have settled down between the two now because as per the sources Bhosle will be seen along with Abida Parveen and Runa Laila in the show.

Asha lashed out at Reshammiya in the past when he accused one of the best Indian singers Mukesh of singing through his nose. Asha got so furious over the allegation that she said the one who thinks Burman Saab sung through his nose should be slapped.

On the other hand Reshammiya and Asha both had issues with Atif Aslam but he will there on the show too, which means audiences will certainly see some drama on the show.

In the last few weeks, Reshammiya and Aslam were both very busy since they both stars were selecting the best candidates for their teams. Many auditions were being held in various cities across the border but now the teams have almost been finalized for the show and this news has developed a lot of hype among the viewers as they know it will be once in a life-time opportunity for the candidates but let’s see which country wins this musical war.
