Bipasha Basu thinks Emraan Hashmi is her perfect match in ‘Raaz 3D’

Desi beauty, Bipasha Basu, has insisted that Emraan Hashmi, who is more commonly known as a ‘serial killer’ in the industry, is a perfect match for her in their upcoming movie ‘Raaz 3D’, which is a sequel to the 2002 release ‘Raaz’.

The 33-year-old actress and a former model, Basu, told the media that she knows Emraan for a long period of time as a result to which she has a good understanding with him. Moreover, she believes Emraan is a seasoned actor now and knows all about how to perform on the big screens.

Bipasha said, “I’ve seen Emraan from the time that he used to work as an assistant director on the sets. Those days he looked like a little boy and since I was a lot more voluptuous then, I looked older than him. But in the 10 years since, he has matured.”

“I’m convinced we will make a perfect match in Raaz 3D,” said Bipasha.

This is not the first time Bipasha is going to pair up with Emraan Hashmi. They were together in ‘Footpath’ and the film did a good job at the Box Office.

Basu also revealed that she had no plans of perusing a career in Bollywood before she won the Best Actress award for ‘Raaz’.

Vikram Bhatt, who directed the original film ‘Raaz’ almost a decade back, is also making a comeback with ‘Raaz 3D’ and Basu is happy for Bhatt as well.

“It was Raaz that got me interested in acting, after I was nominated in the Best Actress category for one of the popular awards. Footpath (2003) and Aetbaar (2004) that followed reinforced my interest. It’s nice to be back with Vikram, he’s a good friend,” she added.

The 3D horror film ‘Raaz – The Mystery Continues’, which is being co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, will feature Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta and Rahul Bhatt in the lead roles. The much-anticipated movie is expected to release in the cinemas on June 22, 2012.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if the film is liked by the audiences.
