Pakistan National team coach Zavisa Milosavljevic is set to tour England and Denmark in search of talented players that could represent the Green-Kickers in the near future.

Foreign players have been criticized as of late by various footballing personalities in the country, however their skills and commitment to the cause, remain undoubted.

Zavisa is keen to exploit this and is set to embark on a tour of Europe, to identify players that could be called up for the National camp when it starts.

Speaking to reporters, the trainer said that by seeing the players play for their respective clubs, he would be able to witness their talents first-hand and it would enable him to compare them to their Pakistani counterparts.

“My plan is to go to England and Denmark in the near future and to see all those players who are willing to play for Pakistan. The best way to judge a player is to see him playing in official matches. After checking players based abroad I will compare them
with the Pakistani lads and then their future will be decided.”

He also piled praise on Atif Bashir and Adnan Ahmed, who many have claimed are the best players plying their trade for the Green-Shirts in the current setup.

“Both Atif and Adnan are good and experienced players. They are the sort of players who can do what the coach says.”

The Serbian also shed some light on his upcoming plans and said that he had picked twenty-five players from the Premier League and would assemble them together when the camp starts for the team in February.

“Twenty-five players will be called for the camp. There will be some new and interesting names in the list which I have picked during the last few days of the Premier League.”

Lastly he revealed that for the U-22 Qualifiers, the U-22 Championship would be held in the last week of April, so that promising players from the tournament can quickly be added to the National team.

“Under-22 Asian Championship Qualifiers is our main target and we plan to hold National Under22 Championship in the last week of April which will help us pick better stuff.”

With Zavisa coaching the team rather than a mediocre local trainer, the National team has a great chance of improving and with the tactician’s current plans; the future looks bright for Pakistan.
