Shahbaz Sharif no better than a dictator: Javed Hashmi
Multan: (Tuesday, February 07, 2012): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf central leader Javed Hashmi said today that chief minister Punjab was no better than a dictator who never bothered to answer the questions posed to him in the assembly.
Talking to the media reporters, Hashmi, a former senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) said that the party, who blamed dictators for the present state of Pakistan, should also take a look over Shahbaz’s attitude in the
same light whose ideology was no different than a dictator and who thought not to be answerable to anyone in the provincial assembly.
Expressing his views, Hashmi said, “His vision and ideology is completely based on dictatorship and he acts like a dictator as he never answers anyone in the assembly. You can verify this by asking anyone if Shahbaz has ever replied
to questions in the assembly.”
Commenting on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology incident which claimed over 120 lives in the province, Javed said the CM should be held responsible for the tragedy. He said if Shahbaz denied the responsibility being a chief minister,
then he was responsible as the Health Minister.
Despite strong calls from both within and outside of the party to relinquish the Ministry of Health after the PIC tragedy, the CM Punjab has denied to hand the ministry over to someone else in his party. Criticizing this sheer
act of negligence irresponsibility and stubbornness, Hashmi said, “Neither has he resigned as chief minister nor as health minister.”
