"Political trio" is responsible for massive corruption in Pakistan: Imran Khan

Islamabad: (Tuesday, February 07, 2012) Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Imran Khan today said that the trio of President Asif Ali Zardari, chief of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif and the leader of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam
Fazal (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman were responsible for the massive corruption in Pakistan which has harmed the country and left it poorer.

Speaking at a press conference here in Islamabad, the chairman PTI lamented that the unbridled corruption and incompetence has cost the country over Rs 3.1 trillion. He blamed Zardari, Nawaz and Fazl for driving Pakistan to the
present dismal state and held them responsible for the losses.

Adding up to his remarks, the cricketer turned politician said that his party was ready to “topple all three wickets in one delivery” and that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was not an issue for the PTI.
